Do you provide MOT testing?

Our garage does not perform MOT testing but we have access to  reputable MOT testing stations and can arrange an MOT and take it for you.

When we take your vehicle for an MOT we will do a mandatory Pre-MOT check at a charge of £25.

This ensures that you are not failed on minor issues such as windscreen wipers or a light bulb being out as we will fit these prior to the MOT if needed.

Yes, all our technicians are level 3 qualified Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technicians who are more than happy to work on your vehicle's.

My car is under dealership warranty can I still get my service through you?

Yes, our services are in line with dealership recommendations and we can register your service on their systems. This means we can reduce your service costs without losing dealer warranties on newer cars.

Do you fit customer parts?

At The Garage Warmington, our priority is to keep you safe on the road while providing reliable, high‑quality repairs and servicing. Because of this, we have a strict policy not to install customer‑supplied parts. There are several important reasons for this:

Liability and Insurance Protection

Our work is covered by specific liability insurance. If a customer‑supplied part fails after fitting, our insurance will not cover the damage or consequences. To avoid placing both you and the garage at risk, we can only use parts sourced through our approved suppliers.

Warranty and Guarantee Issues

Next would be our warranties. You know how when you buy something new, it often comes with a warranty? Well, the same goes for the parts we use. Unfortunately, this guarantee cannot be applied to parts that customers bring in, meaning you would have no cover if something goes wrong.

Quality Assurance

We carefully select parts from trusted suppliers so we know exactly what we are fitting to your vehicle. With customer‑supplied parts, we cannot verify the quality, authenticity, or reliability, which could compromise the safety or performance of your car.

Compatibility Concerns

Modern vehicles are complex, and even small variations in parts can cause major issues. When parts are supplied by customers, we cannot guarantee they are the correct and compatible components for that specific make, model, or system. Installing an incompatible part can result in further faults, delays, and increased repair costs.
